About the project
The key focus of the project partnership was to enchance the exchange of different good practices used with disabled young adults in lifelong learning for the purposes of work, living and learning. During the project, the study visits were organized in all partners’ countries. We had the opportunity to visit schools, workplaces, associations, government bodies, service homes, employment centers, etc. and to see how young adults with intellectual disabilities are included into the lifelong learning. We also shared the existing teaching materials and learnt about the national laws regarding the disabled persons.
The partnership between the organizations from Finland, Great Britain, Portugal, Slovenia and Turkey was very collaborative.
We share the »Fronter« learning platform databank, which provides information on disability laws and education systems in the partners’ countries.
